An offensive line coach? Please tell me that's a joke.

Considering Texas' recruiting base isn't going to make him look better than he is while coaching the Titans, I don't think it would be a great idea.

he seemed very confident since bud is taking a hammer having to pay jeff. but why would bud get rid of fish for someone like this? i would think he would want a homerun

If they're getting rid of Fisher, why not stick with Vince for one more year and see what happens?

Making both moves seems unnecisary

IMO this organization was going to have to move on eventually and it's time. New coach, new QB....about as fresh a start as you can get

People need to get some perspective. Belicheck was fired in Cleveland and was doing piss poor with Bledsoe at QB, then some guy named Brady comes in and he's the greatest coach ever. People suck of Bill Cower to no end, but a lot of people wanted him fired between his first Superbowl loss and next superbowl apperance. Before last year, people were willing to give Sean Payton one more year.

Talent goes a long way and teams without a GM (Dallas, Oakland, Titans, Bengals) always have struggles. Fisher is a solid coach who wants to play defense and run the ball. Not saying VY wasn't a problem, but the Titans also lost Keith Bullock, K. VandenBosch, J. Kearse and A. Haynesworth. Great coaches make great players? Shocker!!!

we failed in so many drafts. #3 pick (VY) #6 pick (Pac)

CJ and KB were great picks but we just havent had enough solid draft classes. FWIW Keith Bullock's best years have been over for quite a while. Losing Al hurt worse than anything

Titans are my AFC team- I even went to see them play the opener vs. the Raiders. Pretty good time.

How about Dungy or Gruden for replacements? David Carr as a QB?

As a whole, Fisher was extremely mediocre and vastly overrated.

What has been the greatest accomplishment of a Bud Adams team?

I'm pretty surprised to see Titans fans actually happy about this. Being mediocre, sometimes really good, and never really shitty is a great accomplishment for a coach working for Bud Adams. I actually think Jeff Fisher is the only difference between Bud Adams and Mike Brown. Adams is that bad--ask people from Houston. You haven't seen him without the steadying presence of Fisher.

I'm not particularly a fan of the Titans, nor am I a fan of any of their rivals so I'm neutral on this, but I've always respected Fisher and it's my opinion that Titans fans are not going to like the changes they see now.
