Love me some Clint Capela. Dwight Howard was more talented, but Capela's commitment to his role has made him WAY more valuable to the team. If fricking Dwight could have just ran the pick n' roll...
One of the most glaring problems in the NBA (often seen on lower tier teams) is that every skilled player wants to be the best player on the team. Capela could absolutely be taking some jumpers, hook shots, etc., but he completely believes Morey and D'Antoni in that those shots are less efficient and will ultimately hurt the team. Dwight never gave a shite about the numbers. Capela just wants MORE LOBS as he so famously posted the day of the CP3 trade.

Not at all. He bLocks some shots but his teams defenses haven’t been impressive since he entered the league. Look at a guy like embiid or rude gobert. There mere presence on defense leads to an elite d when they are on the court. Don’t get anything like that w Davis.
