This wouldn't surprise me. They slightly modified the wordmarks and block C, but they're visually similar to their current branding. I'm sure it's all calculated to make this a smooth transition for the fans.
Their only misstep appears to be the generic clip-art looking winged G logo. They may want to rethink that one before next season.

One of the most iconic scenes in MLB is Cleveland Indians super fan John Adams banging his drum. This is now ruined....
The Indians have said they wont allow Indians gear or merchandise in the stadium starting next year. What a shame. Hearing the drum beat and fans clapping along is one of the greatest things about going to the ball park. Unreal

While it is fricking embarrassing to change the name in the first place to appease the sensitive fricking Libs, I don't think Guardians is the worst name I've ever heard for a sports team name. I agree though the logo looks embarrassing.
