Yankees - Red Sox
I hate the Baseball, but more importantly I hate the yankees, so go Red Sox.

Alabama - Auburn
Whoever is ranked higher and/or in position to win the division, I want that team to lose.

Michigan - Ohio State
I really don't like tOSU, so go Michigan.

Lakers - Celtics
Celtics all the way. Grew up a Larry Bird fan like every white kid.

Duke - North Carolina
I think we all know where I stand on this wagon.

For it me it depends on the year / circumstances. I don't like any of these teams. I grew up rooting for the Lakers over Boston, but lately I've wanted Boston to win. Usually I pull for UNC and I've never pulled for Ohio State. I've always hated the yankees but I think the last 10 years have made me hate Boston even more.

Red Sox

Auburn- My reasoning is very flawed here but I don't give a shite. I grew up rooting for one team, the Saints and since the area I'm from is mostly Bama fans I took a lot of shite for it. Also that dumbass idea about "having to choose" between the two growing up in Alabama is retarded.

Michigan

Don't like either team

Duke

Sox I guess, but lately they have become as intolerable as the Yankees

Alabama - Auburn

Whichever team winning helps LSU the most. If it doesn't affect LSU, whichever team can screw up the other's season

Michigan - Ohio State

Same as above

Lakers - Celtics

Fluctuates based on who I hate more that year. Normally pull for the Lakers I guess

Duke - North Carolina

UNC. This is the only one I am sure about

And for the Army-Navy one, Navy. My brother went there.

Yankees - Red Sox- I'm a sox fan.

Auburn vs Bama- I cheer for whoever helps LSU, if not applicable I cheer for the higher ranke team to lose.

Michigan vs Ohio St- usually Michigan I guess

Lakers vs Celtics- don't care either way

Duke vs UNC- Duke only because I dislike Roy Williams

I'll generally pull for whoever the underdog is at the time, but when all other factors are neutral, I go: Sox, Auburn, Michigan, Celtics, UNC.

I hate ALL of these teams. Most of them are ESPN media darlings, and it makes me sick.

How about showing the NFL some love?

Cowboys-Redskins? I know the game hasn't meant much, lately, but I would consider it a classic sports rivalry.

Yankees - Red Sox - Used to be easily the Red Sox, but now they are Yankees but claim they aren't.
Alabama - Auburn - Depends on how each team is doing...usually Bama though.
Michigan - Ohio State - Hate 'em.
Lakers - Celtics - Don't care. Depends who is on which team.
Duke - North Carolina - Used to flip flop but developed a dislike for Duke. Plus I have family involved in UNC sports.

First, to answer the OP's question:

Yankees/Red Sox: Neither. Hate both of them
Alabama/Auburn: Neither. Hate both of them
Michigan/Ohio State: Michigan, probably because Woody Hayes actually punched a student athlete (from Clemson I think?)...I just always thought that was bush league. Go Blue

Lakers/Celtics: I hate the NBA

Duke/North Carolina: Duke, because they're so damn terrible in football.

Second, Let me add a few more:

1. Notre Dame/USC: I'm catholic so I always pull for ND in this one.

2. Miami/FSU: Florida State

3. Texas/Texas A&M: A&M

4. Southern/Grambling: Southern...the human jukebox baby!

5. Saints/Falcons: Obviously Saints.

6. Canadiens/Maple Leafs: I've got family from Montreal, so Go Habs.
