4 bad spots on Cincy. They are owed one.

Yeah, doesn’t it matter if he pulls it back? There is no plane to break.

Not really. If the Chiefs do anything good, the refs cheated. If the Bengals do anything good, it's legit. Weird huh?

Of course there isn’t a down the line angle.

I did think he got it in real time

The call will stand, but he only half arse bright it back. He was also getting pulled sideways.

I don’t think it’s a good challenge.

At least based on the way this has been explained in previous broadcasts this year. If he pulls it back voluntarily then you don’t get forward progress at any point on the field except at the goal line according to many previous situations like this this year.

Is it worth risking a TO to challenge that?

Not a good challenge here by Reid.
It's not like they can move the ball closer, unless he got the first for sure.

It’s where you’re down with the ball. Since he brought it back and then went down this will be an unsuccessful challenge.

They could wind up out of challenges?

They lost one earlier so this is their last one regardless of if it's successful or not. The bigger thing would be that would be their 2nd timeout already.

That's what I thought.

This happens all the time, but it will be absolute bullshite if they give him the first. This isn’t the goal line where it’s instantaneous. He put the ball out but then brought it back. That’s the equivalent of running backwards. He shouldn’t get the spot where he went to but where he ended up at.

It all depends on what the ref sees as forward progress

If you reach the ball out and then pull it back, wouldn’t that be considered moving back on your own accord?

Yep. Exactly. You have astute judgment my friend.
