Hell, Ray Lewis gave glory to God after the Ravens won a Super Bowl not long after he killed a guy!

Mentioned this in another thread and got some flack. But I ended my point with:
Kids idolize these players. If these players praise God every chance they get, there will be kids that don’t know God and will get curious. Hopefully leading them to a life with Christ. I’ll never hate on that. Even if the players that say it aren’t really about it, they’re getting the message to someone out there.

quote:Myron Rolle was a Rhodes Scholar, NFL player, doctor, and currently on the BOD for Abiomed,…oh and a Christian. The only thing more ignorant than an atheist is…nothing; there’s nothing more ignorant than an atheist.
The only people dumber than football fans are football players.

The American Christian is a special breed.
The majority love Jesus until his teachings apply to their real life.

Seems like every game the players interviewed are giving credit to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

If anything it seems like you see it less these days which makes sense considering how religion has declined in society as a whole.

Kurt Warner was the first to be more vocal about it and some in the national media weren’t fond of it. They really got their rocks off when he lost to the Pats.

Dude, that never went away, so get over your persecution complex.

But he was the first to wear it on his chest during and after the 1999 season. He hosted a Christian seminar at the dome a couple months after the SB victory.
