That’s called setting and enforcing a narrative. Anyone that watched the playoffs at all knows TAMPA held more than anyone with zero calls against them.

KC has been holding all year not just a few iffy instances in the playoffs.

Not surprised not single person took time to respond to this. They all like to say “KC was robbed!” When the penalties were clear as day.

There could have been more called on KC

The OL blatantly held, like literally tackled a DL, on multiple occasions.

a 40 yard PI against Evans when the CB dove and tripped him

What? You need to watch the play again. Their feet got tangled, which isn’t a penalty. He didn’t even touch him we he fell.

Same as above. Watch the replay again. Breelands left foot catches Evan’s heel causing them both to stumble. Breeland barely lays a hand on him as he goes down, if he even touched him at all.

Tangled feet, not PI. You people are delusional.

Maybe KC should have stopped committing fouls.

No you need to, their feet didn't get tangled, the DB was beat so he dove and tripped him.

The refs excuse is amazing. Tampa defense absolutely raped Kansas City. Raped them. Their offense did absolutely nothing all night.

Naw, baw. Breeland tripped on his own feet b/c he was trying to catch back up to Evans after he got a step on him and on his way down he used his hand to trip Evans. That's DPI.

The Chiefs just played sloppy last night. It's okay to admit it.

It's such a lazy and bad take. Always is.

So you’re just willfully being incorrect. Cool.

Zoomed and in slow motion

Maybe use this replay so you can actually see what happens instead of the one from across the field. :36 mark. You’re welcome.

This isn’t what happened at all. Watch the replay and watch their left feet when it goes to slow motion.

Or be willfully ignorant like the other poster. Makes no difference to me to be honest.

I don’t care about the Chiefs or the Bucs. Hence the reason I can call what I saw without any bias. This was a poorly officiated game. Period.

what could have been a 3-0 tampa margin in the two sets in question became 14-0 tampa and put the game largely out of reach

i dont think it would have effected the overall outcome. tampa was the better team last night. i just hate the nfl does this to us.

Never happens if Reid doesn't call those timeouts. That drive ended the game, IMO.

Tampa had a defense, KC doesn't

It took an Atlanta type choke for them to win last year. Niners pissed that game away.

The chiefs didn’t deserve to win the game. Their line and receivers were terrible. That doesn’t mean the officiating didn’t have an effect on the game. Both are true here.

Lol Romo says repeatedly that the Chiefs DB’s held all year during the broadcast, Internet goes on to echo that after the game to defend the flags.

If I were a conspiracy theorist, i would assume that the league/officiating crew studied the Chiefs, found an opening, gave Romo some talking points and manufactured history: Tom’s #7, first QB to win SB w/ 2 teams, first team to win SB with 4 black coordinators and 2 female coaches, first team to win SB at home stadium, etc....

Edit: The 1st half could have very easily been 9-10 or 13-10 Chiefs without some very questionable calls in the secondary. Brady and the Bucs defense were able to pin their ears back with a 21-6 lead

Wow, you cant be serious

Focus solely on the towel on Evans hip. It doesnt almost get ripped off his body due to the wind blowing, Breeland shoved Evans, then tried to grab his towel in desperation, to keep Evans from making the catch.

A textbook case of PI, when the defender knows hes been beaten on a play
