The early Mathieu pick was negated with a horseshite holding call

That’s a huge deal

Chiefs o line/Bucs front 7 was the main reason they lost but the first half was a joke in terms of officiating

Officials called ticky-tack stuff, very tight in the KC secondary. I think it helped TB directly score points.

With that said, KC couldn’t do anything. This was Tampa’s night.

Even if you take away the PI and defensive holding penalties called on the Chiefs, their high flying offense still managed 3 lousy field goals. Pathetic.

Ummm... It was a legit call. Sorry you can't accept it.

Even the Breeland PI, while it looked cheap was legit.

The HB PI in the end zone was a bit questionable but was PI. The only question was if the pass was catchable, but when you push the guy the other way, of course it is going to look like it's not.

Ummmm... Evans was held blatantly by Ward. Most of you are trying to act like he didn't but it is clear as day. You can see Evans having to push off to get out of his hold (which is not offensive PI).

Even if it was Forunette that tipped the pass, that doesn't erase the hold. Ward was beat badly on the comeback route, and the penalty was called. You don't ignore a penalty because another thing happened on the play. Kudos to the official that was there calling what he/she saw.

The defensive penalties against KC were abysmal

Yup as soon as they made them one dimensional, the pass rushers took over.

And it wasn't just the penalties they called on the Chiefs, it was the fact that they called ticky tacky stuff on the chiefs but refused to call anything on the bucs when they were doing the same or worse.

One of the first things Romo said when they came on the broadcast tonight was that the Chiefs hold in the secondary more than any team in the league.

The refs called holding tonight.

That’s called setting and enforcing a narrative. Anyone that watched the playoffs at all knows TAMPA held more than anyone with zero calls against them. Interception against New Orleans, blatant hold. Interception against Green Bay, blatant hold.

It is what it is. You have to watch professional sports like the WWE. You had an NBA ref write a book about fixing games, yet were supposed to believe every other professional league is above board.

penalties for 85 yards in the game’s opening 30 minutes

2 for 30 yards were for Jones and Mathieu getting personal fouls calls

a 40 yard PI against Evans when the CB dove and tripped him

another was for lining up off sides on a FG

Tampa Bay is just waaaay better. Like Romo said, take away the Chiefs jumping out to a 17-0 lead in first game and Bucs have since outscored them 55-19. Tonight was about as bad as I've ever seen an NFL team get dominated on the LOS. LF looked like he was back in the SEC out there tonight running behind LSU's line in 2015. The push Tampa's oline got tonight should frankly embarrass the Chiefs organization and their fans. They got absolutely mauled. As bad as that was, Tampa's DL and overall defense was probably even more dominant, if that's even possible. Mahomes is lucky he walked away from this game without a serious injury. He took some serious shot out there. Brady was Brady. Not sure who all Tampa returns next year, but that defense could even improve with more experience as they have some young players. They could be something really special.

The pi right befor half on honey badger was bs he did commit the foul, but the ball almost hit the bottom of the bleachers it was un catchable.
The personal foul on chris jones was ticky tac but he put himself in that position.

The pi on honey badger didnt make a difference it was under 13 seconds and it would have been 2nd down Tampa had to throw into the endzone regardless.

My favorite part was when Romo tried to call the refs out in the 2nd half after sucking them off for the entire 1st half.

Stupid mistake!

But Tom had em figured out yesterday, simple as that.

Dumbest Tamp mistake was not having LF in on that 4th and goal. He would have got in!

don’t commit penalties. At least 80 percent were clear as day.

halftime crew wanted less.

I would like to show the holding and ask about each instance.

the one trip call at end of half might have been uncatchable. weak if your whole bitch session depends on one iffy call when you lose by a couple td.
