He's okay. His voice is terrible and his biases tend to come out from time to time but he's alright otherwise.
Romo is phenomenal though. He really makes it apparent how terrible some announcers like Phil Simms are.

Knew someone was gonna bring up the law degree as if that means something relative to Collinsworth (it doesn’t, he’s not a lawyer and he’s played the game therefore he has inside knowledge for analysis). I should create a game that rewards the first person to bring up the Collinsworth law degree since that’s been mentioned in practically every topic concerning him as if it means something massive. LOL

It’s the voice, he actually provides sensical and descriptive commentary which reflects great on him it’s almost like a Ben Stein Effect: brilliance but sometimes obfuscated by a grating voice

I came in here expecting this to be about how he had to listen to Al call every other play an RPO despite 90% of them being just regular arse play action.
He even corrected Al once by saying something like, "That play was a straight play action."
Seemed like after that Al started to get the hint, or Collinsworth bitched at him off air, because I don’t think he said it once past that point.
