Just bc someone sins doesn't mean you should reject that person or be less accepting. It just means that heaven is going to reject them and be less accepting

Well then I'm sorry your views of Christians are so skewed. I dont want to hijack this thread though so I'm going to end this discussion. Have a great day

It is beyond my logical comprehension why people feel so strongly against someone being gay.

How does one being gay effect the life of another? Especially when those people do not know the homosexuals personally.....how is it anyone's business and how does it effect your life in a negative way?

Blows my mind.

I am not a practicing religious person or anything, but is it not indeed a sin?

What I'm saying is...I dont give any creedence to what a sin is, but understand it falls under the heading "SIN"

So what he said is no less true than saying "Murder is against the law"

only difference is, I agree with the law.

Watch the whole video, he never said he had a problem with the guys. Personally, he has nothing against gay people even if he thinks its a sin

don't mind someone being gay and I don't mind the Christian view of not liking homosexuality. What I can't stand is a guy like Broussard is going to have a problem with him but it's ok that most NBA players cheat on their wives and have kids with numerous women.

To be fair, Kobe got beaten up pretty hard when the Colorado thing went down, even after the rape charges were dropped.

They aren't just going to bring it up out of the blue, something has to trigger it.

I just defended Chris Broussard.

Exactly. I disagree with living a homosexual lifestyle. But I dont think any less of those that do. I see myself as no better than them.

He never said it affected his life, he simply said that its a sin. How do people not see the difference?

Completely agree. But there is a difference between not agreeing with the lifestyle and hating gay people but its not portrayed that way

Isn't calling someone intolerant and narrow minded for not accepting a way of life in itself intolerant and narrow minded?

I courteously disagree. It really is a one way street. You either accept the liberal propaganda spewed by the media or you are crucified.

As a sports loving kid, I never had to think about what my favorite players did with their collective dingi-nor did I give a flying f#%k.

While applauding the bravery it still takes to come out, please don't be disappointed if I don't throw you a unicorn parade over it, and don't be shocked if every talking head doesn't endorse your lifestyle.

Personally, I turn the channel when he's on, but he shouldn't have to grovel or have a goddamn beer summit over this.

Agreed

He also said that pre-marital sex is a sin, why isn't anyone grilling him for that?

There are a lot of "Christian" people out in the world who claim the religion and don't live up to it. If they wanna believe homosexuality is a sin I am fine with that belief, however, don't cast judgement on him because God says all sin is created equal. So they are not perfect either
