I mean I could think of less favorable conditions for an upset than a team playing at home, with a poor weather forecast, and far less to lose.

Michigan winning would be hilarious, but I'm mostly hoping for OSU to look like shite so we can see how that eye test vote goes next Tuesday. That's the most interesting aspect of the committee right now.

LSU wins 56-3 or something stupid
OSU wins 49-48 with 6 turnovers

I'd tune in to see the justifications of the committee either way.

Michigan wins by 3 points 17-14 and LSU stays at 2 because Ohio St. has a better defense.

Committee logic.

Far, far crazier things have happened than a team at home against its most-hated rival pulling an upset.

Across 115 games the series is is pretty darn even 58-50-6, Michigan (2010 OhSt win was vacated because they were caught being cheaters paying their players)...

I just want OSU winning ugly while LSU wins bigly so LSU can jump OSU.

I certainly don’t want OSU dropping to 4th and #1 LSU facing them in the semifinals. That needs to be a title match, not an anticlimactic semi.

That's funny. GA Southern coming to town again?

I'm rooting for the Tigers to do well because I love coming to this board, love seeing Joey B tear it up, love the band playing Neck, hell I even love corndogs!.. but if you can't see that the reason you dropped is because of your lack of Defense you need to take the purple shaded sunglasses off.
I want nothing more than to be in NOLA in January watching the Bucks and Tigers go at it. LSU Offense vs Bucks Defensive will be a battle

Go to Indy and lose to OSU - Rose Bowl
Right? Or is there a selection criteria I'm missing?

Unless they go the SEC route and not choose the runner-up in place of the “bigger name”. Which would be Penn State or Michigan.

Ohio State isn't #1 because of eye test. So there's that.

I am rooting for Michigan.

The way I see it...

OSU wins/loses and beats Minny in Indy equals OSU playoffs and Minny in Rose.

OSU wins and loses to Minny in Indy equals both in playoffs possibly.

OSU loses and lose to Minny puts minny in the playoffs and maybe Michigan in the Rose
OSU wins/loses and wins vs Wisconsin in Indy equals OSU playoffs and a question for the Rose. But I dont feel strongly about a 3 loss Badger team getting selected over PSU or Minny or potentially a 2 loss Wolverine squad.

OSU loses and loses to Wisconsin then Wisconsin to the Rose with a long shot for the playoffs.
