CFL has the best looking footballs

It has the white stripe going all around the football and looks beautiful on tv when the ball is in the air. College Football is 2nd with the half stripe. The NFL is missing out on this..I'm not big on changes but it would help the game if they added the white stripe.
Canadian football is very underrated when there is nothing else to watch in the summer.

You serious? I mean it looks like every football every youth played with as a kid.

This was my favorite Christmas present (every year for about 5 years) growing up.

USMNT has taken a massive step back after that abysmal performance and those jerseys need to be set on fire

I like the CFL but their football is hot garbage. Looks like a youth league ball or something you bought from K-Mart back in 2000.
The GOAT is the old Wilson, forget the model, from the 90s.
New GOAT is the CFP ball from Wilson.
Also, wish NCAA would go to a standard football. Kind of tired of every team having to come up with their own ball from Nike. Looks clownish to me.

We used a football with the full stripe back in 6-7 year old flag football. When I got to 8 year old tackle football, we used the college ball with the half stripes. I felt like I had finally reached the big time.

Probably a bit too "busy". But not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things
The bigger issue is how much work has to be done to break in a new football. You would think by now the manufacturers know how little teams (particularly QBs) like playing with brand new footballs and take steps to get them a little more game ready from the start.
Of course, it's probably not that big of a deal for the pros/colleges who have equipment managers who handle the process of quickly breaking in a football. But I remember in high school I played QB and we would get 2-3 new footballs a week. EVERYONE hated using them because they were hard, and a pain in the arse to try to grip because of the wax covering. The best footballs were the ones that were 2-3 years old

Wouldn’t the newer footballs have more tack to them though? And as they age and are exposed to the weather it wears off

What about for the straight guys?

I’ve broken in quite a few, just beat the crap out of them.
Water, shaving cream, water, mud…brushing, conditioner, brushing…
My son is a kicker, so I literally beat the shite out of the seams with a wooden bat…I scrape the ball with the side of the brush…smash them pointy end down on sandpaper…

My school was poor. I remember one game the coach came out with a new football. That was it. I thought we were playing in the national title game that day.

I’ll probably get DV’d but soccer cleats are so gay looking

I was not aware of this at all.

Those were pretty bad. He has some white ones now that aren’t terrible. Some Italian Nikes.
Pulls those leading cleats out so he can skim the turf…so forced to SGs that they don’t make anymore.

Looks like a cheap knock off of a real football. Which is basically what the cfl is.
