Why is Texas tech throwing bombs in garbage time?

That is bs

Because we've learned that if you leave it in the hands of the committee they will do exactly what they want even if your team has earned it, FSU missing because they lost their QB was the big signal of how it works now.

I’m excited to see TTU in the playoff . They’re fun to watch

Hope we get a good matchup with them and it’s not one of the wasted games sadly

Oregon hasn't beaten anyone of substance either. They're best win this year was USC.

I don't disagree. But at the end of the day, they are still data point wins to build a resume.

Everyone in this thread is saying how much BYU sucks. Well outside of beating BYU, Texas Tech's only other decent win is Utah. They haven't been "tested" much more than Indiana, by that logic.

The SEC is far and away the best conference top to bottom this season. And they are going to be rewarded with 5 teams in the CFP because of it.

I truly think ND is a top four team in the country, but man, that H2H has to count between the two.

The way Jesse and Tess are talking it sounds like ESPN wants ND to sweat getting in so they can try and force them into the ACC.

BYU and Texas Tech both aren't that good compared to some of the other teams that will be in the CFP. This is true. Tech is going to get a bye even though they don't deserve one.

If Bama wins, they will be ranked side by side. The committee would put Miami over Notre Dame if that happens, in my opinion.

If Bama loses, the committee will say they view Notre Dame, Bama, and Miami in the same "pod" of teams, and they will put Notre Dame and Bama in.

Miami needs to cheer hard for Bama today.

I disagree. Miami needs to root hard for Georgia blowout over Alabama.

Enough of a blowout to leave them out and replace them with Miami

Jesse and Tess are just trying to create drama. Miami lost to two 4 loss teams.

Get rid of the G5 guarantee

It’s supposed to be the 12 best teams. Instead we get this DEI inclusion shite for a scrub G5 team that doesn’t belong in this playoff field taking a spot away from someone else

If Virginia wins tonight, won’t they hurdle Miami? Same record, Virginia won the conference and Miami didn’t even make the game.

IMO ND has a better shot at going farther in the playoffs over Miami…
