Virginia will be the 11 seed if they win tonight and likely play Ole Miss in a 1st round game

Miami missed the ACC Championship. Miami can blame the ACC for having a ridiculous playoff system…

While Virginia is in with a win no matter what, that does bring up a good point in terms of the rankings. They could certainly use that as a reason to jump them over Miami in the rankings, which could create a buffer between Notre Dame and Miami.

For the first time in Texas Tech history, the Red Raiders are Big 12 champions!

Though it definitely makes it easier when Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Missouri, and Texas are no longer in the conference.

No.

The Big 12 just isn't that great or deep of a conference.

My point is good for them but let's not act like the Big 12 of 2025 is as powerful of a conference as it was 15 years ago.

This discussion Jesse and Tess are having is hilarious b/c if the committee actually jumps Miami over Notre Dame they make themselves look like complete idiots for putting Notre Dame above them in the first place.

I mean...they had Alabama behind Notre Dame for two weeks before inexplicably moving them ahead of them after the Iron Bowl. It's not like this Committee is very bright.

If Bama beats GA number 1 is the winner of the Big Ten
Number 2 is Tech

then the losers of the championship games

Alabama got the shite kicked out of them by a team in 13th place in the ACC. The SEC is not as above the rest of CFB as you seem to think. Saban is gone and NIL has spread the talent. SEC depth isn't anywhere near what it used to be. Open your eyes.

They could at least hide behind them both playing games w/their weird justifications.

I just don't see how they could possibly come up w/an excuse to flip teams when neither is playing.
