You can't give them territory to the north because FAU, UCF, and USF have all that territory directly north. Only place to go is south and Puerto Rico is really the only option

Something along the lines of that Every D1 school starts the seasons with the counties that they are the school which is the closest to that county (or something like that)

LSU controls Pooter Rico. And LSU picked up New Orleans from Auburn beating Tulane then Florida beating Auburn.

UCLA gets it. Northwestern had no land, so OSU gets dick. You only win land if the team you beat has land at the time. That's why typically teams get the most land when they end winning streaks. If you keep playing teams that suck then you have no opportunity to win land. It's why Clemson and Bama have far less land than you'd expect even though they're undefeated.

Minnesota doesn't own NW Wisconsin no matter if they are closer than Madison.
