Haven’t looked at many of the games yet, anyone have any good picks?

Record YTD: 9-5 from Week 1

Week 2:

Mississippi St -8 vs Kansas St
Arkansas -13 vs Colorado St
Arkansas St +37 vs Alabama
Appalachian St -14 vs Charlotte 49ers
Bowling Green +16 vs Maryland
Penn St -9 vs Pittsburgh
Wyoming vs Missouri O/U 52 - Over
Rice vs Hawaii O/U 71 - Over

Few notes: I’m fading Hawaii & Colorado St.

On Alabama game, Saban is 33% ATS when a 35+ point favorite.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Nice write up dood

Curious about the MSST/KState game. Rationale behind MSST -8?

Mississippi State-9
Southern Miss -6
Baylor-15
TCU over 58.5
Missouri -17
Indiana over 52
Florida int -1
Memphis -7
Buffalo +5
Buffalo money line
Oklahoma St Over 63
Fresno over 48

I’m on more favorites than I like but I really like the lines.

Over 48 in the Fresno Minnesota game is puzzling to me, they combined for 118 points or something like that in week 1 so I’m going to hammer that one.

My favorite plays are Mississippi State, Southern Miss, over in Fresno, over in Oklahoma State game, and Memphis should roll against an extremely weak Navy defense. Memphis returns 8 defensive starters that held Navy to 300 total yards last year, and they racked up 752 yards of offense last week. Navy gave up 50+ to Hawaii and Memphis should in theory be able to duplicate that success.

Miss St put up 600+ yards & 63 points of offense WITHOUT their star QB (Fitzgerald who was suspended) vs Stephen F Austin.

Is Kansas St better than SFA? Of course.

However, Kansas St. played South Dakota (FCS team) and BARELY won 27-24. They were down 24-12 at one point and had to mount a 4th quarter comeback. They gave up 300+ yards of offense to South Dakota. I expect a blowout win by Miss St here.

I expect something like 45-28.

I’m also not as high on Snyder as others are. He hasn’t had a good team in 6 years. That’s a LONG time in the college football world. He’s gone through almost 2 full rosters at this point.

I went 6-1 last week, but my one loss was a drunken Texas ML 550/100. My 1u bet is $25. Had to bet heavy LSU ML to keep under -$300

Might just take the week off.

I like your Missouri -17 and Oklahoma St picks.

I would have taken Missouri -17 but the over was more attractive to me.

Love your OSU pick. Just didn’t pick them up this week.

I took Maryland in that one. I don’t understand the Herman hype. Let data affect your decision making; not media hype.

Remember, Texas will ALWAYS get more hype because they are... TEXAS.

I know this. Worst bet ever. Ruined my best betting weekend ever.

I was praying they'd end up cancelling the remainder of the game once they went into the long weather delay. That would've been the biggest blessing.

GT and Stanford were on my list to look at. Solid picks IMO.

Arizona St pick scares me because I think Michigan St is better than what they showed week 1.

Im going to see if the line goes up anymore before I take it. Late night Pac 12 game weird stuff happens. I just took Minnesota at -2.5 in case it goes up.

All of this makes sense but I think this game stays close. I'm seeing this pick on a lot of people's cards and that's a major red flag for me.

- 11 am Manhattan, KS
- everyone writing off the Wildcats
- State getting way too much credit for beating SFA, a team that gets beaten badly by other FCS schools

this line is absurd. Typical week 1 overreaction.
Can OU cover? Absolutely. But that line should be closer to 21.5
