bama was -7 at home vs UT
bama is -2.5 on the road

if BD is less than 4.5 points of value,, aggie would be favoured over longhorn on neutral field
No, this puts Texas rated a few points higher than A&M. Bama -7 at home against Texas would make it around 3 or 4 on a neutral depending on how you rate their hfa, and would make it somewhere close to a pick at Texas when you apply hfa the other way.

Bama would be around -10 against A$M at BD based on those two numbers.

You don't think Washington State +3.5 is a trap? An unranked team vs. a (13) ranked team and you're getting 3.5 points!!

I really don’t buy into the idea of traps. If I did, I wouldn’t be betting about half that list.

2-0 to start the week.

My stalker continues to downvote. I guess they don’t like winners.

I love the OU spread. I’m taking OU +6 all day. Plus Texas best offensive weapon and best corner probably won’t play

TCU -6 at iowa st
Tech -1 hosting Baylor
Bama money line

What’s the reason the Bama line keeps dropping? I’m seeing -1.5 now

Don’t shoot the messenger. A Vegas oddsmaker just said it on SiriusXM.

It has to be true because the line just dropped to a P from Alabama -2.5.

Washington State’s offense outpaces the UCLA offense, but the UCLA defense is far superior. Looks like Vegas likes the better D at UCLA.

I keep seeing this as the line’s justification but just don’t buy it. Their D has benefitted from playing bad teams/O’s + one less game w/ an early bye to skew their ranking.

SD St & Coastal are both dead last in their conferences + they lost to an Utah team that doesn’t have a QB at the moment. (*Utah’s O ranks 128 in total offense right now, and yet they still got in the Red zone multiple times vs UCLA & missed FGs, etc…)… & their 4th game vs a FCS school pads the #s too.

On the flip side, Wash St has blown out 3 much better teams overall and mostly given up yards & points after the games were multi possession leads still late.

They will be lucky if half the stadium is full too for the Noon local kickoff, making “home field adv” a moot point.

I have it as Washington St -1.5, so a 4 point swing from the oddsmakers.

I saw J Pate picked a Louisville upset. I'd feel very confident going with Notre Dame if I knew they planned to up the pressure on Plummer.
I'm just unsure about that. ND doesn't have good sack numbers so far. They should see some reasons to increase pressure on the NC State film. I'm leaning toward the Irish, with a key game plan factor being Al Golden dialing up blitzes to affect the QB. Even if they don't result in sacks, just pressuring and affecting Plummer works really well.
