I'll tell you what's going to happen at Central, just like everywhere else Sid has been successful. Eventually , the Alumni and other supporters who do all the work there because their kids go there will notice that their kid gets aced out for playing time by the recruits that Sid brings in (from outside the school district - he knows how to get it done) whose parents don't contribute anything and act like everybody owes them everything. A rift will be created by this and the Alums and supporters will eventually force Sid out (probably after some very successful seasons) so their kids can get a chance to play.

I remember that game when Central was 8-0. I was there lol..we (Central) got dominated. Chris Schrio was all we had. Catholic dominated the 2nd half and was well in control of the game after the first half.

I'm not sure what Tree is talking about. They are ranked #3 in the state

Have you actually watched them this season? They were a couple of BAD CALLS away from losing at least two games to average teams so far............but, they are the team to beat!!

Last years team and the '96 squad looked unbeatable.

They squeaked by Woodlawn because of a greedy coach, and Scotlandville supposedly should have beat them.

Their 7-1 is an underwhelming 7-1. The offense hasn't clicked yet and there are 2 regular season games left.

Outside Lewis, harrell, and betrand, who else has offers? I heard that walker and lee might have some.

Last year they barely got by St Amant when STA recovered an onside kick but was called offsides. They lost 8 or 9 fumbles at Broadmoor and only won by a couple of TDs against a team with 20 players. They might have beaten Denham by 14 points. They were no different than this team.

I heard Ponder committed to Tulane. Todd Lee should get a D-1 offer, but we'll see.

Central beat Denham 28-0. Defense hasn't been scored on in 21 quarters.

Now next week,

Interesting post wallow. I always wondered why the guy can't stay put when things "appear" to be going so well.

You're bball team was SICK that year, though. Curtis West, Jay Lucas...other people who I've forgotten now because it was 4 years ago...

ugh we dominanted them. To hold STA to 14 points is extremely good. the points don't tell the true story of the game

8 or 9 fumbles...had we not fumbled the ball that much we would have won 60-0

I do remember us struggling a bit on o...we had 70 yard bomb called back on some bullish. Despite our struggles we still dominanted them and it was never a game

If you knew more about the guy, you'd have your answer.

Great guy and Family Man. I talk with two of his B-I-Laws every now and then.
