It really would have been interesting to see what ole DickRod could have done with Patrick Ramsey, JP Losman, Roydell Williams, Mewelde Moore, etc. There was a lot of talent on those pre-Katrina teams that was squandered, especially the 1999 and 2002 teams.

Tulane should have been in the Sugar Bowl in 1998; the SB committee was threatened by the cartel that it would lose its spot in future major bowl rotations if they picked Tulane. So they didn't.
