Blame NBA fans. NBA fans are the most idiotic fanbase of any sport. Even dumber than NASCAR or UFC fans.
NBA fans only care about individual players. They don't give a shite about team, or defense.
Defense plays no part in the equation on gauging how good an NBA player is. At all.
