CBS Sports and the Pac-12 Conference today announced an extension of their partnership which is set to begin with the 2025 football season. The extended partnership will continue with the league’s transformation and begin with the new Pac-12’s launch ahead of the 2026-27 season and carry through the 2030-31 season. The new agreement establishes CBS Sports as the primary long-term media partner for the new Pac-12, with additional partners to be announced at a later date. As part of the extended partnership, football and men’s basketball games for the new Pac-12 will air throughout each season on The CBS Television Network (and streaming on Paramount+) as well as CBS Sports Network.

Annual football championship game and men’s basketball tournament championship will be on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+. A minimum of three regular season football games and men’s basketball games will be on CBS and Paramount+ each season.

Football and men’s basketball games throughout the regular season on CBS Sports Network. Details on games TBA

CW and Turner are two of the most likely future partners. ESPN is probably in play as well but I'd bet most of that would be tied to ESPN+ and it's likely the Pac wants the higher visibility from cable and OTA nets.

Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Utah State are joining the conference next year when the deal kicks in.

Gonzaga will be a basketball school. They are looking for at least one other football school. Texas State is a possibility, but I think they want to aim higher. A multi-year TV deal will help them attract someone.

They wanted UNLV but the Rebs used that to get a better deal than the other MWC schools to stay.

They would take Tulane and Memphis as a package but neither seems to be willing to eat the costs to break from the AAC when the TV money at the moment is essentially the same. Both would likely need a new home for all their other sports as well which is another issue.

No chance...they want to be associated with higher ranked schools...but they should.

Throw them in and SMU and a fun conference to watch

Travel costs and player travel fatigue is going to eventually become an issue for some of these universities. I think within 10 years you’ll see certain schools like Cal and Stanford try to get more local again.

Doubtful. Even with a reduced payout Cal and Stanford are getting at least triple what they would get if they were in the PAC-whatever conference or the MWC. That covers a lot of travel costs and universities don’t give a flying rat’s turd about athletes fatigue.
