The 20 yard squib kick heard around the world.

But was it not a squib though? It looked to me like she was just trying to punch it at an angle. And it also looked like he was going to go out of bounds had the other team not covered it up (which would've been hilarious if her only kick resulted in a penalty).

If a girl can honestly earn her way into that position and "play" football, then cool. Nice story. But the vast overreaction about this is just very strange and actually pretty insulting to women. I mean, she won SEC Special Teams Player of the Week for chrissakes.

"She won the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week"? I trust this is said with tongue in cheek. Did you see the video where immediately after she kicks the ball, while it is still in flight, she turns & jogs to the sidelines. While the ball was in play. What SHE did was insulting to all the other male kickers available.

I sincerely doubt there will be lucrative speaking options for her but more power to her if there are

Robin D'Angelo charges $20k for a single speaking engagement and she has bookings. As long as the media promote this broad she can make money no matter how phony it is.

Nope.

I saw something (from the SEC maybe?) that talked about the "flawless execution" of a squib kick that "sailed 30 yards" or some shite like that. It was hilarious.

He practiced his fricking as off and got DESTROYED for a full fricking year. Then....he went up against an opponents and didnt sprint off the field DURING THE PLAY to avoid contact.

Rudy worked his butt off, used as a tackling dummy, and paid his dues. What did she do?

Yeah her last speaking engagement didn’t go well.

A number of players reportedly opted out for the season after that game.

Ever hear of a guy called "Rudy"?

Not even close. I book about 10 speakers a year for local middle and high schools and have a decent budget. I’ve contracted authors of popular fiction, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, famous athletes from NCAA, NBA, NFL, etc.

Rudy would be a great “buy” to cover any number of targeted topics. She would check a box for equality but would be a weak and cheap booking. The backstory and following aren’t there. A Social Media Influencer would demand much more money and have a booked schedule. She might have a year of talking to a couple schools.

Talk about a message to share. “Being a fricking godawful placekicker meant more than being an SEC champion goalie.”

She should honestly feel ashamed of how propped up she's getting. Not even joking I could kick a football farther than her in 7th grade.

And her in game kick isn't the only kick. Her practice kicks have like a 1.5 second hang time

How will the possibility of substituting women into a football game affect the betting line?
