You guys are so sensitive. Everyone outside of CC Nation believes it'll be GS. Nothing to be ashamed of.

You have shite the bed in this thread. He made a post about a lineup that was the best in the league next to GS. It was dumb. You were confused when you responded initially. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I am not saying they won't win the East. That lineup he posted was pretty meh too. He acted like it was elite.

it will be elite. the lineup makes basketball sense.

in much the same way, Paul and Harden are big names, but capela and anderson and gordon are not. the cavs have been playing people with clashing styles. who all need the ball. who don't work with spacing or energy or role.

all that is different now. everyone actually makes sense on their team and in their position and who they will defend and how they will thrive. when you have that WITH lebron, you have something.

this is going to be an elite offensive unit. wait and see.

the lineup wasn't the thing. the trades are the thing. the point is that now the cavs are younger, deeper and more versatile than before.

it's not 5 on 5. it's twelve on twelve. the cavs are 9 deep for the first time all year.

The new line-up is probably

George Hill, JR Smith, LeBron, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson

Bench has Clarkson to run the offense as a Jamal Crawford-type with Hood and Korver has the 3 point shooters. Osman is still around in his role along with Jeff Green, and Nance is the back-up power forward.

Much improved team.

Cavs being the best lineup is dumb obviously. I didn't read his long OP. So I'm just going off your reply to it. I took what he said (that you quoted) to mean Warriors will more than likely be there, but regardless the WC champs will win.

I obviously don't know what he's talking about now after his last couple posts.

i can see why port thought i was saying that. i was just saying the lineup was substantial. and that with the depth i think the cavs are back in the finals.

before the trade, i thought it was possible that celtics or raptors could beat them.

i'm assuming you mean when love gets back?

and i disagree. i think hood starts over JR. also i think you reboot to drop lebron to the 4 and Love to the 5. there's only a very few teams that will punish them for it.

Hill Hood Korver Bron Love is how i'd start.

They may have improved from this season but still behind from their core of finals runs with Kyrie. If somehow they got Kemba or DJ then I would say they have a solid chance to win the East and give GS a run.

But w/o another superstar I just dont see them going anywhere and probably not even coming out the east.

I will say this was def needed. They lost a ton of experience but are younger and more athletic. Ready to see what LBJ can do with them cuz they were going no where before.

See, this lineup doesn't scare GS, Houston or Boston. They need another star for sure.

George Hill is the most underrated in that lineup. Dude can knock down 3s and was a plus defender for most of his career outside of Sacramento

But its really:
Clarkson-Hill-Hood-LeBron-Love as a death line up counter

all of them can handle the ball, all can pass, and all can shoot well.

its how bad of a defender are clarkson and love and can hill-hood-lebron make up for it.

I'd be absolutely surprised if that squad can't beat Boston.

All u did was replace Kyrie with Hill really. Bench is a little better but doesn't even make up the ground between Kyrie and Hill. Need another scorer or a big injury for Boston/GS.

Look I'm a Lebron guy so I hope yall are right and maybe I'm giving Kyrie too much love but I feel he's a top guard in the league whereas George Hill is 2 tiers behind him.

Right, when Love gets back.

And I think the closing playoffs line-up could be Hill, Clarkson, Hood, LeBron, Love,

Thompson and JR have reduced roles which will help them a lot. And Green, Nance, and Korver could get serious minutes.

Kyrie > Hill

But
Hood > JR, Korver, or Shump
Clarkson > Deron Williams
Nance > Frye

Osman played like he did last night and he's easily bettr than Jefferson

I just think the positive from Hood, Clarkson, Nance, and Osman from those albatross can help out. Won't make up for the loss of Irving, but could be a better balanced team than we think.
