I wish Blatt could manage LeBron's minutes, but that would mean JR having to go off again, and he's cooled down lately.

quote:Are you retarded? The ball hit the rim and the shot clock reset. The problem is that the clock operator started the clock before the Cavs gained possession.
Sure he was
The Cavs gained possession with 22 seconds on the shot clock. The clock is supposed to start once they gain possession. There should have been 24 seconds on the clock, not 22 when the Cavs got the ball.
So the Cavs only had 6 seconds to get the ball up across half court... they should have had 8.
I timed it and LeBron was across half-court in 7 seconds.
So if the clock operator didn't screw up, it wouldn't have been an 8 second call.

53-50? Is halftime over?

Just hit rewind, the clock reset to 24 right after Curry's shot hit off the rim like it is supposed to do and James crossed with 15 seconds left. Seems pretty cut and dry.
But the clock is not started again until a team gains possession.
If players are tipping the ball around trying to get the rebound for 4 seconds, there isn't going to be 20 seconds on the shot clock. There will be 24.
The clock doesn't start again until a team has possession.

I expect the refs to miss travels and fouls, but out of bounds calls? Unacceptable.

Klay Thompson has disappeared, you are not even close to superstar status when you fade to the background like he has.
