Congrats, Barbe.

Great season by Catholic. Best regular season in CHS history.

Their hands are pretty tied. Graduation dates are set a few years in advance because of having to schedule the River Center and having the bishop available for mass. They knew this was a possibility over a year ago.

Barbe won its 8 title

Crazy the factory that south lake Charles is. Coach has the luxury of getting all the south lake Charles little league World Series teams dating all the way back to the mid 90s. It's one of the few cities where select ball hasn't taken over

shite, there's select teams out the arse. They just all come back for their 11 and 12 year old year to make the all star teams for the world series.

But, yeah, SLC is a factory that has been cranking out players for years.

If you don't think travel baseball dominates the scene in SW La maybe you should do your homework. There's a reason most of these kids from different schools are friends off the field, they've played on teams together during the summer since some of them were 7 or 8 years old.
