He's at 272 wins right now, having a good year
He's 71 years old
He ain't gonna get 300 IMO

He needs a minimum of 3 more years and it's a below average conference.

If Pujols taught us anything, it's to never doubt the greats.
He just needs to find the coaching equivalent of a PED....

Yes, Drake Maye is a heck of a QB and will help get him 8-10 wins for 3 years. And Mack isn't retiring before Maye leaves for the NFL.

He will get there if he chooses to stay coaching. UNC has become a pretty strong program. They are a very quiet 7-1.

Can he coach for 4 more years? If so I think he’s a lock to get it

This sucks. I get leaving a dumpster fire like Ava Tech or Az St, but UNC is 7-1 and he’s the starter. Him leaving would be such a depressing thing

Just signed an extension this year. If he can just play out his contract, he'll have another 4 years of coaching. As close as he is, outside of an absolutely terrible season next year, I think he sticks around to make sure he gets to 300.

Hard to believe it's been that long since he was 40.
