When the Vikings started cage rushing him and made him stay in the pocket is when he started to struggle.

I think he’s going to get there.

Yeah, I just don't know if he has what it takes between the ears right now. You can see his physical talents flash at moments. In some of his interviews he still sounds like a child.

He's one of those players that I could see having a resurgence later in his career though. Maybe when he matures a bit more and the pressure is not as high, different surroundings even. I know that's not what Bears fans want to hear.

I mean instincts/IQ IS the position. The Tier 1 greats don’t have the strongest arms, and they sure as hell aren’t fast. They know how to read defenses and they know where the ball needs to go. That’s it

You can’t even get by not having that piece. Kaepernick would be a legend if it were possible

And I am sure somewhere, out there, on some obscure podcast, in a social media post, or in a text, Ryan Clark called him a racist for saying it.

I’m not betting against Ben Johnson

I was telling everyone to settle down after last year with Dweeberflus and Waldron, but last night was a little concerning.

A lot of mixed signals with Caleb. Ben Johnson turned down a lot of jobs but chose to work with him so there has to be something there, but the franticness and lack of accuracy is not good

I think it’s fixable., lot of high throws and throws with poor touch. Think he’ll settle in

Mike Leach always said the only thing you can’t teach a quarterback is accuracy. We’ll see

Williams isn’t a goodQB.If you keep him in the pocket he’s lost.He is also a premadona and feels entitled which is bad for a QB.

He won’t ever be an elite QB but I think he will end up being serviceable because of his legs

So is that really fine for a 1.1?

The OL is also still pretty awful and Flores is a really good DC so tough to put it all on Caleb

This is what people keep getting wrong. His line was actually rated 16th in the league last season by pff so average but he kept making bad decisions and taking unnecessary sacks. Also his O-line last night looked fine as well. Not sure how you are saying it was awful.

So far he makes Cam Newton look like Joe Montana.

But damn can he scramble.

He is a mental midget.

Honestly, he is more worried about painting his fingernails and making “statements” than he is about getting better.

How in the heck the “experts” didn’t see red flags when he was painting his nails is shocking to me.
