I have had much worse injuries playing soccer and some when I was a teenager. I didn't come close to crying like this adult male NFL player who friggin pulled a hammy. What a fig

I’ve had worse injuries than pulling a hammy and have walked off fine.
I’ve also pulled a hammy and have been unable to walk with it.
The length of the injury doesn’t always relate to the immediate pain with it. Once that hammy “pops” it is a brutal feeling.
Eta: I also know people that have played sports with a pulled hammy. It can work differently for each person, and obviously it’s funny to make fun of the dude who paints his nails for this, but if we’re actually being serious about it, I get it.

Yes it does. I fellow baseball player was trying to stretch a hit into a triple. Pulled hamstring between second and third. Went down like he was shot. Ambulance came to the field and carted him off. Tremendous pain.
