You’d think being such a huge draw would at least increase your hometown attendance by more than ~15%

I wouldn't. Maybe you would.

15% attendance boost is a lot for a female basketball player.

I wouldn't buy tickets to watch any of them.

It’s actually about 1/5 of her offensive rebounds lol

How many players from her team are on the court when she is playing?

I’m just going off of what is currently happening in the wnba. You wouldn’t think the supposed second biggest draw in the league could pull at least 5% of the increases that the biggest draw is pulling?

I guess that goes to show you how minuscule what Reese is doing actually is in comparison. 4%? lol

So what’s 400%?

obviously you aren't very good at math but Fever attendance is up 12,000 per game and Sky attendance is up 1,400 per game.

that is over double more than 5%

Also it's dumb to continuously compare Reese to Clark rather than to every other WNBA player to ever play.

Does that include games that the Fever played the Sky? I’d like to know the increase in attendance without those games but I’m not expecting anyone to do the work

yeah but they've only played 1 game in Chicago. attendance was 9800 for that one. it was 9,025 for their last home game against minnesota.

seems like they opened extra seating because 9,025 seems to be the normal "sell-out" and even for Clark they could only get to 9,800.

Depaul's arena is pretty small.

.

Clark herself even mentioned how the Sky dropped the ball by not putting the game in the United Center....

LINK

but in fairness to the Sky (who are losing money hand over fist with Reese) likely didn't want to waste anymore money renting out real arenas because Angel can't draw anything more than 700 people over the current league attendance average.

Delusional. Reese contract is 4 years, $350k. They are selling 1,400 more tickets per game this year and the upper deck standard tickets go for $60+ each so she is making them a minimum extra $84,000 in ticket sales per game plus concessions/merch. The real number is a lot higher because most of their tickets cost even more. For Wednesdays game the only non-resale tickets available are $400 and $600 a piece. For Saturdays game the only tickets still available cost $175-$350 each.

She isn't costing them anything.

Chicago tickets are up 3x what they were last year on resale value thanks to Reese.

Outside of games that Chicago had played against Indiana (Caitlyn), their attendance is the same as last season.

Caitlyn is the only needle mover in that league’s history and the attendance and tv ratings confirm it. So does merchandise. Her merchandise has outside the entire rest of the league combined.

this is demonstrably false.

the numbers are easily accessed on the internet, but you Clark stans (yet you still spell her name wrong ) can't wrap your head around them.

Sky averaged 7,241 fans per home game last year. If you remove their home game against Clark they have 76,700 attendance this year through 9 home games for an average of 8,522 per game. That's a 17.6% bump this year for the Sky in ticket sales for games without Clark.

Through just five home games this year, the Fever already suprassed their home attendance numbers from last year. Insane.

I was at Gainbridge on Saturday, and there was an hourlong wait before, at halftime, and after the game to get into their team store and buy merch.

Caitlin mania is real.

Indiana fever increase from 23-24: 413%
Chicago sky increase from 23-24: 20%

So Reese has been able to do 4.8% of what Clark has been able to do lol

Of course it is for you lol. Clarks accomplishments make Reese’s look absolutely minuscule.

Like I said. If Reese is such a huge draw, why is she only able to do less than 5% of what Clark is doing lol

He’s got a really inflated idea of what his goddess is bringing to the game when you compare it to what Clark has been able to do.

But of course, he thinks we shouldn’t compare her to Clark lol

I would be willing to bet that the Chicago team's gate has increased because of CC's exposure to the league - a "rising tide lifts all boats" phenomenon.
