I thought this was going to be a comparison of both of their rookie years. Why are you comparing Clark to someone that’s playing her 17th season?

This is Taurasi rookie year:

19.2 pts
4.2 rebounds
4.3 assists
1.4 steals

Taurasi turns 42 in a few days and has been proven right. She said Clark would have an a transition period. Clark's team is 2-8 and she's turning the ball over 6 times a game.

CC has gotten spoiled by all them hundreds she has made. Not hungry for success anymore.

I'm not even a WNBA fan, but it's apparent in the few games I've watched that

1.) Caitlin is the most talented player on the court, and given that she's had no rest since September and is playing with a brand new team, I'm amazed she has the stat line she does. I think the Fever have played a game every other day for the past month. Her schedule is INSANE!

2.) Her court vision is rare. Like really, really rare. I've counted numerous missed layups from her teammates. Her passing is kind of beyond some of her teammates, and they often miss her dimes, hence resulting in a TO for Caitlin.

3.) She's constantly being harassed on the perimeter and rarely has an open 3 point shot. This might explain why her 3 pt % is low.

4.) I repeat: to anyone with eyes it's apparent she's the best player on the court and just needs time to grow with a pretty lackluster Indiana Fever team.

Caitlin Clark is the real deal. Her hype is justified. Eminently more likeable than bush-league Angel Reese.

I remember when Diana taurasi was at UCONN and you heard her name all the time. Now you never hear her name anymore.

People care way more about women’s college basketball than the WNBA.

Roughly the same. Those are her full season stats. Clark as only played a handful of games so far.
