I kind of get what you're saying, but watching Iowa is actually enjoyable. They play sound fundamental basketball, running picks, passing, outside shooting, etc. There's a lot of crap play across collegiate sports, but good basketball is good basketball.

She is incredibly quick & obviously has fantastic, perhaps unmatched shooting skills. But Bird was 6'10" & every NBA player interviewed about him says he was an off the charts competitor. He would post her up till she became exhausted. And then he would simply stand flat footed & shoot over her. Curry is a lot better comparison but she could not handle any NBS player. Get real. No female in any sport could handle any pro athlete.

Clark plays more like Steph. Great player; I hope they take the title.

This is the best comparison.

One of the announcers said the Iowa big girl has only dribbled the ball once in either the game or maybe tournament. It’s crazy bc she is heavily involved in the offense. If it was the tournament then that would be a crazy stat.

She's got one responsibility to pick then roll, and she does it real well.

Don’t forget “and finish”. That is the hard part abd she does that very well

Clark is electric and a dynamic scorer like Steph, especially from 3. I find her to be a better facilitator and rebounder though. Hard to compare really, she’s one of the best women’s players I’ve ever watched.

Was Iowa only her offer? I know she’s from Des Moines but why weren’t the big schools hot on her trail?

She was the #2 or 3 ranked recruit nationally for 2020 behind Bueckers, who is pretty good in her own right. If she was from any other state, she 99% would be playing for another school and I say that being from and living in Iowa.

They were. I think Notre Dame was a finalist. Interesting enough (to me anyway). Her High school team didn’t even make it to state her senior year, much less win. She was a dominant high school player as is indicated by her national ranking.

yeah, she wasn't faster than that Bird. Lol She had a hard time getting past S Carolina big girls yesterday, no way she faster than a prime Larry Legend.

Normally I'd agree, but I was bored last night and watched the 4th quarter of the game.
I was bored to, but I watched both games and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed both games, LSU dominated the 4th quarter against Va Tech. Then the Iowa-S Carolina game was just a fight all the way through with Clark putting on a performance. Both great games!
