Just for the record, as you can see in the thread, I took no offense to it.
But it's kinda silly to tell me I'm following you and degrading you when I was just debating a point and you take your little potshot just 1 day ago lol. Especially when you accused me of degrading you which I don't ever recall doing up to that point of that post.

but in short no he should not be suspened for an entire year.That's stupid.
4 games MAX. It was a hard,unnecessary,cheap shot that in the 90s would not have gotten a second glance. Just because there is that drastic difference in size DOES NOT mean that the intent was more malicious(and it was to a certain extent).Ideally players,regardless of size,skill or status get called the same way.In short if Jason Kidd threw a violent hip check at Odom knocking him off balance and causing him to turn a knee,the reaction would be different.
Although I AGREE that it was a cheap shot,the over reaction to this foul is the same type of over reaction that occured in 2007 when Horry sent Nash into the scorers table. It was a hard playoff foul.
if this can happen with a non call in the NBA,anything can.

Good call, that was a really bad overreaction, I think worse than this one.
Both were bad, but not as bad as some make it out to be.

nobody said a damn thing about anything with 8 mins to go, they were still bombing 3's in the first 10 seconds of the shot clock with 4 mins to go up 35. frick those guys. Period. Hope he has cracked ribs and with luck a bruised arse from landing on it.

It's rediculous the way the league polices the players in the NBA and I seriously hope the next CBA addresses some of that shite. We already see it being addressed in the NFL's CBA, ppl are tired of Goodell's dictatorship of the league, and its even worse in the NBA. When you cant even show emotion over a foul without geting T'd up, thats bullshite.
