Burrow has earned every single cent of his contract.

I don’t expect it to happen but if he has nagging injuries or the league just catches up to him it could be an incredible anchor on the entire Bengals franchise. If he’s not a top 5 or at least top 10 QB every year it will be one of the biggest mistakes in NFL history. Of course if he goes to the afc championship or SB a few more times then Bengals made the right move

Herbert got $262 mil and hasn't actually won anything.

Same comments apply to him. Seems risky to bet team’s future for at least 5-10 yrs on one guy

That’s what you have to do when you have a young top tier QB. Trevor Lawrence is going to get a similar deal a year from now. QB is the most important position in all of sports

I can’t imagine someone handing me a check for 1/4 of a Billion dollars to play a game. I wonder what that feels like to have anything and everyone at your disposal.
We joke on the OT about OT10’s and fricking Olivia Dunne but can you imagine how different your life could be with F-you money ?

Seems unreal just because your genetics and some hard work made you into an elite athlete.

Props to Brady and Burrow. Roger Staubach and Joe Namath didn’t hit that kind of lottery.

Ditto for me, but I'm going to lose because of Jeaux. Had Tua on the bench.

The Chiefs' LT on Thursday night graded out worse than any game that Brown ever played for the Chiefs.

Get back to me when the Chiefs go through a three or four year streak of not being able to beat the Broncos or Raiders. That is the equivalent of Cleveland bitch slapping Cincinnati every time they play.

He had no practice time due to his injury. It'll take him some time to feel comfortable. No worries

once a star player gets that massive contract, they get lazy and never give 100% effort the rest of their career.

why should they give 100% at that point? they're locked in financially and giving 100% can only result in a possible injury that could effect their next contract.

Burrows receivers "protested" today by not running decent routes or putting in any effort; especially Tee Higgins.

Of course Mahomes only won the league MVP, the Super Bowl MVP, and won three playoff games and played ten quarters of playoff football on one leg last year but enjoy your narrative.

Lmao. No. He's a QB. Only 82 yards passing. There's no excuse for that. If he was injured he should have sat out. He plays for one of the worst franchises. He Bungled it.

maybe Chase knew something when he suggested Burrow sit until he's healthy.
