Had a friend head to a more rural area BWW and asked to get the British Open on tv, and the manager had to ask him what fhe British Open was. Similar thing happened at Average Joe’s for opening round March Madness games in Dayton. Sometimes if it’s not local football, some fight, or Sunday Ticket, these places have no idea how to cater to their market.

If they do this it will be a business transformation for them.
They will be the MTV of restaurants. 10 years from now you might not even be able buy food there anymore. Just like music disappeared from MTV once they got into the reality tv business.

Makes me wonder if these cheap arse chain truck stops would get into this game as well - they always have the slots/poker in states where its legal, why not this?

Could be huge for them, if it happens.

I have zero reason to go to BWW, none at all. But add in some sports betting, and i might go get some average wings and a few brewskis as i get killed by the book.

This is the kind of thing I was hoping for when the ban was lifted. For places that don't currently have gaming licenses to be in the mix to have sports betting.

I was hoping for more local places. BWW could put a ton of local competitors out of business with a move like this.

ETA: Locally, The Post and Harpo's would kill it with sports betting.

Sybergs would make a killing. Helens has a ton of room to add betting machines and space to put even more tv's in.

I don't understand why anyone say chicken wings are garbage. I can't say I've ever had chicken wings that I didn't like.

overall (tv setup, beer selection, sauce selection, thursday wing specials), i like buffalo wild wings, and it's my favorite sports bar in my area (Los Angeles suburb).

How is this even possible in a place like that? Y'all don't have any great non chain wing places?

Anyone here ever been to Hat Tricks in Tampa? A place like that is legitimately not even comparable to a BWW.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard some have a positive review from any of the BR locations. The one on Bluebonnet is so bad I am truly amazed it’s still open. As soon as you get there you might as well order any beer you want because it won’t get to you until after you finished your meal, and that’s a solid 50 minute wait for food btw. I went back recently after they renovated hoping maybe it would be better and nope. Got my first beer 25 minutes after ordering it.

I believe the Hammond location got busted for selling Tyson wyngs one time as well.

i said they're my favorite sports bar, not the best wings.

in los angeles, gastro pubs are all the rage. many gastro pubs have a sports bar setup, but they are gastro pubs first, and sports bar second. and yes, many of these places have better wings than BWW, but they don't have the variety.

pure sports bars, like a buffalo wild wings, are mostly dives or chains. BWW is the best of the bunch.

there are some famous "wings only" (read: restaurant only, not a bar) places in LA, but i haven't been in almost 20 years.
