I just don't vision the Buffalo Bills playing in a glitzy new stadium. When I think Bills, I think shitty run-down stadium near a freezing-arse lake
Last time I was there fans were throwing cups of piss at the visitor’s bus

I don’t care if the Bills get a new stadium, but can we make sure as a country that a roof is never put on it???? Football was meant to be played in the elements.
Hell I wouldn’t even mind if the fan areas got a roof but the field didn’t

It should be noted the Packers do not own Lambeau.
The city of Green Bay owns it.
Would that explain the lack of overall events that take place at Lambeau or is the blame on the fragility of the natural grass field? I know they had a Kenny Chesney concert there a few years back that produced some amazing police reports but it rarely gets used outside of Packers events.

Austin? Is there any room left in Austin for a NFL stadium?
Plenty of space south of 71. Or East of the airport where it’s booming a bit right now. Most of these new stadiums aren’t built directly inside of the metro city anyway.
(Speaking completely hypothetically because this is never going to happen)

Yeah if you like shitty football. Games should be decided by the players and coaches, not the weather and refs.

I used to be fully entrenched into the old way of thinking with football needing to be played in the elements but people want to watch an offense being able to run efficiently.

You mean the soon to be London Bills?

As drunk and rowdy as they get - this seems way out of character

Yep. Domes are a terrible waste of money for football. Football is much better outdoors.

Some indoor stadiums are good, but the whole league having them would become monotonous and boring

I would think the city owning it would open it up to more events. I do think the Packers have some say on it however.
While it is a grass field, it is some sort of hybrid that I forget the name of. It doesn't get torn up with divots like Soldier Field nor does it turn into a mud pit like natural fields of the past. It holds up pretty well overall, but I do know that they don't like to do events during the season. UW-LSU and the planned UW-ND game there last year were only set up after a lot of negotiating as I understand.

So you don't consider Cowboy Stadium to be a dome?

Which is?
You do realize most teams didn’t start getting domes until the 90s and then they exploded in the 2000s, right? Hell before the moves last season, only 8 teams in the NFL had domed stadiums anyways.

The Austin or Texas Bills have a good ring to it

And cold weather teams have trouble in the heat so

How you expect a bazillionaire with a multi-billion dollar asset to pay for his own stadium? Bigot.
