This is a stupid comparison. I might as well say that Floyd Mayweather beating Connor McGregor in a boxing match proved that boxers are tougher than MMA fighters. In reality they're two completely different sports and being really, really good at one doesn't automatically make you world-class at the other, even if they do share some similarities.
I'm not going to say Crawford is right or wrong, but I will say this: for those claiming that golf, or football, or whatever other sport is as difficult to master as boxing is, just imagine that while you're playing those sports, at the same time you're having to let Mike Tyson in his prime repeatedly punch you in the face as hard as he can.

Honestly the heavyweight UFC champ is literally one of the badest dudes on the planet.
Are you under the assumption that a pro boxer hasn't whooped an MMA fighters arse in the boxing ring?

So, 40 to 50 times a game? Boxers are having to make quick, high-consequence decisions every time they throw a punch, which could be 100+ times each round. Again, all while the other guy is attempting to beat their brains out.

Jim Brown was a dominant athlete. Speed and strength and quickness. Football. Lacrosse, basketball ( he still has the record for single season pts per game in Nassau County) In baseball he was scouted in h.s. by the Yankees

I boxed one time. Three rounds, three minutes apiece. By round two I was gassed. Trying to throw punches and at the same time defending yourself at all costs. Sheesh.

OK, I'll be the one to say it. They are ALL hard as frick to be elite at. However, their level of difficutly is tempered by the individual's committment and work dedication at achieving elite status.
Bud reached elite status because he worked is arse off to be elite.
Tiger Woods reached elite status because he worked his arse off.
Wayne Gretsky was elite because he worked his arse off.
Derrick Henry is elite becaus he works his arse off.
IMO, the team sports are a little easier to become elite because you have a supporting cast.
Rodeo is DEFINITELY too low. Trying to manhandle a 1200# pissed off animal is a whole nother level of dedication to master.
