Pasadena or New Orleans?

a town with that doesn't care about you walking around with a drink and drive through daquri shops versus the stuffed shirts in Pasadena?

Eddie George was on Sirius 91 this afternoon going on about how if a Big 10 and Pac 12 team were selected, they should automatically play each other in the first round...

and he was going on about how far it was from Talahassee to Pasadena...I did a routing, and the shortest route from Columbus to Pasadena is 20 miles shorter than the route from Talahassee to Pasadena...of course he wouldn't bring up what it'd be like trying to drive in December from Columbus...wheras from Talahassee would be a straight shot on I-10 and no snow covered interstates to worry about...

People from Ohio can barely handle Cali

I doubt they can handle Bourbon St

Pasadena was packed for the NCG with FSU fans

I highly doubt many people are going to be making that drive

I smoked herb on the beach and on the streets of Santa Monica with no worries. You wouldn't catch me walking down the streets of NOLA with a J. I've done it but was nervous about the stuffed shirt cops getting upset and harassing me.

Much rather be in Pasadena playing Oregon where we have a legit shot

But you are right I would feel much safer in Cali than I would in NOLA

Santa Monica is one thing, Pasadena is something else entirely...Jan and Dean knew exactly what they were talking about when they wrote about the little old lady from Pasadena

I smoked on the golf course while tailgating for the Oregon/Whisky Rose bowl.

New Orleans. Was there for the Sugar Bowl game against Arkansas that never was. Best town ever for a big game and I'll be there for this one.

Was in NOLA for the LSU game and plan on making the trip again in a few weeks. New Years Eve on Bourbon St is going to be wild.

The OSU fans we saw for the LSU NC game partied hard and long. They travel very well.

I really think it's a nice change to change things up a bit...

although I think a gump invasion of Pasadena would be almost as epic as an invasion of LSU fans...

A lot of us are traditionalist. I rather go to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl.

Do people actually spend time in Pasadena outside of the game? I went to all three Wisconsin Rose Bowls recently and the only time I stepped foot in Pasadena was for gameday.

They won't even be in town at that time anyway.
