I’d personally prefer to see it playing closer to even par for the leaders. Back 9 seems tough, so hopefully that will even out the scores.
It will. Going to be a little bit easier today, tomorrow will be a little tougher, then the weekend is going to be brutal.

I agree. Just be patient baws. They will be tested before this is over.

It’s NOT too tough as long as you keep it in the fairway.
You could say that about basically any golf course. However, these greens are going to be brutal over the weekend as they continue to bake out.

It’s almost like no one here has ever watched a US Open before.

When did this dude become mentally weak?
It's been downhill since that putt jumped in him

That rough is thick and brutal... but I agree the course has played pretty soft so far.....

Only 8 of 72 players are under par and people are losing it over how easy the course is playing

They need to put Speith on the Korn Ferry Tour

True, but it's also only 11:30. Almost half the field hasn't even teed off yet. I expect the scores to get worse as we get further into the tournament, but people were saying the winning score may be 5+ or worse, so seeing several guys go low already is somewhat surprising in that regard.

Plus they can’t make it too tough right now for pace of play purposes with their being not as much light as their would be in June.

Yea I would be surprised to see it get that high after what we have seen. But I can see a -2 winning it.

That Amstel light commercial with Phil is hilarious.

I could really afford to see JT bogey 18.
