His dad posted an 11 minute video on Instagram yesterday basically showing a ton of plays where Odell was open and Baker missed him. Also coincidentally Lebron randomly tweet out that Odell would be good in a better situation and the browns were holding him back—all seemed like a pretty coordinated effort to get him traded or cut

I dont think the NFL can handle the sheer amount of metrosexual with brady and odell on the same team. Would brady open mouth kiss odell?

From Mike Silver's Twitter

quote:

Earlier today, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski told his players that Odell Beckham Jr. is essentially not on the team right now and that the WR has been told to stay at home.

So he was going to come to practice but they told him not to? Because his dad posted a video? Seems like there is something missing

It’s been a rough season for both sides, and both have been unhappy for a while now. Seemed to me that all the stuff that happened yesterday was coordinated to get Odell out of there via a trade. And now the bridge is burned in a way that I don’t think they will be able to find a resolution until they cut him.

being an elite NFL WR really seems to bring out people the self-indigent shithead in people.

Playoff contenders that actually need a WR:

Ravens
Pats
Colts
Packers
Raiders
Saints

Problem is I don’t think Odells talent/production matches his ego anymore. He would need a strong locker room culture to actually be a contributor

Saints have some guys that would certainly keep him in check but not sure it’s even worth the hassle at this point. He’s like an angry child

Odell and Belicheck have reportedly been mutually infatuated with each other over the years. WR room is starting to pick it up the last few weeks but the pats could certainly use an explosive outside WR, aghalor isn’t getting that done enough.

Could see him going for a plug and play contender like KC/Tampa, or possibly even the Rams since he’s represented by Klutch I think. Given Lebrons involvement in this I could see that coming in as an influence

Saints make sense in a lot of ways, but I don’t see him signing up to play with Simian and Taysom to rehab his value

It's obviously more than the video. He's probably been acting like an a-hole for a while now and this just pushed it over the top.

False. I think being a self-indigent shithead proves that they're not an elite NFL WR.

The best receivers in the game today (Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, DeAndre Hopkins, Amari Cooper, etc) don't act like this because they are professionals. Even some of the most dramatic receivers of all time (T.O., Randy Moss, Irvin) still showed up to work.

OBJ was essentially where Justin Jefferson & Jamarr Chase are at right now talent-wise and then he thought he was the best thing ever. Got his Dad acting like this is high school football or something complaining that his son isn't getting the ball. Embarrassing
