If AB can find work, there is no chance OBJ isn’t on a team immediately.

He’s a PITA but he’s freakishly talented and that’s just how it works.

I think there are 2 big differences. AB was legitimately crazy and it wasn't just an ego thing. He also has a patron in Tom Brady.

OBJ has been an a-hole everywhere he's gone and it's purely an ego thing. Nobody will come to bat for OBJ like Brady with AB. That's the biggest difference.

I’m not sure being crazy and presenting as an a-hole (like AB did) is more tolerable than simply being an a-hole (like OBJ is).

And sure, Brady went to bat for AB, but the raiders also signed him. And we know the Seahawks had interest even immediately after the sexual assault stuff came out. They didn’t care because the guy can play. Same will be true with OBJ.

It’s a valid comparison. AB was at least as toxic as OBJ is right now.

Before he got there, the Browns had went 1-40 over their last 41 games....1 win...1!!! He is doing fine in Cleveland.

What kind of simpleton are you? You make it sound like Mayfield is the only difference between this teams and the current roster. Even the coaching staff is different. And no mayfield is not on the same level as Lamar or Josh Allen. The later two are dominant at their

If he was so talented, why does he drop everything that's thrown to him? For 75% of his routes, he never gets open or separation from DBs. He is on the decline and not worth the hassle or the money. Good riddance.

I’m not saying he’s going to get top dollar anywhere. I said he would get signed immediately.

When healthy he’s clearly a better option than the majority of WRs in the league. Someone is going to take that chance and pray he can stay on the field. If you disagree with that I don’t know what to tell you.

Employed" parents does not equal "educated" parents or a "tremendous upbringing". As another poster, who was a former advisor, mentioned above about his dad bitching & complaining about everything when he was in school versus how Shaq handled it. Odell gets his poor attitude from his dad/parents.
My point was that he was not raised by his father, but by his step father and mother and his social circle was a bunch of rich uptown white kids (my friends younger brother was good friends with him). I don’t know anything about his mother but it seems like his dad is the only clown putting stuff on social media.

Rich White kids like Johnny Manziel? What's the obsession with race and class here?

It's amusing how fans love to Stan for Billionaire owners who can cut players like OBJ any time they please , but how dare an impudent player decides he's had enough of a generally garbage franchise.

Never have figured out why guys making that kind of $$$$$$ wouldn't be thrilled to just be there so keep your mouth shut and thank God everyday.

So this board is angry because of something OBJ didn't say or do? OBJ can no more tell his adult father to shut up than Lonzo/ Lamelo can with Lavar Ball.

Despite Lavar's big mouth his sons are doing great in the NBA. Fairly coveted player$$$$$$$.

AB was at his peak when he started acting like and a-hole and getting cut. OBJ is hot trash. He's going the way of Ochocinco.

Bottom line is that OBJ just is not as good with the browns as he was with the Giants. He has lost a step and is a hothead now who complains to the refs when HE is unable to make catches.

AB frolicking around shirtless in his backyard when he found out the raiders cut him was some entertaining shite though

Interesting, Saints only NFC team. Maybe there's a handshake agreement in place no AFC team.

If he wants to quit the team, just say that. But he won't because he still wants the Browns to pay him another $8 million.

Y’all have a weird memory of Ochocino, he was never really that controversial or a problem in the locker room, he was just kind of a goofy funny player. Kind of like Gronk before Gronk

Odell hasn't been a truly elite receiver since 2016. Maybe a new team, OC, and qb can revitalize his career. But as of now he does not seem to be a huge pick-up for any team that may get him.

Can't blame them. Would you want him hanging around LSU? How did his last involvement with the team work out?
