Giannis got his brothers into the NBA and they don't belong either. Nepotism is nothing new.

Jerry Jones employs all of his kids, has that killed the NFL?

Brian Kelly's son is on the LSU roster, I look forward to OP melting about that too. It doesn't bother me but he has laid out his standard so I look forward to him being consistent.

So does every Mom and Pop Pizzeria.

Jones owns the Cowboys.

Are you implying LeBron effectively owns the Lakers? Without putting a dime into the franchise? Employees shouldn't be dictating the course of a franchise. The Lakers are a mess.

Semantics but has he not raised their value?

The Lakers know they're not going to win a championship with the current team and Lebron declining but they will make a ton of money on his farewell tour.

But the whole world wants to see dummy Lebron and his weak arse son play a game together on the same team!

As a result, those college basketball player that truly have the talent to play in the NBA, won't be given that opportunity to fulfill those dreams because of Daddy James!

One person. Bronny is one person. He only took a single spot. Let's also not forget that he was drafted with the 55th pick in the NBA draft. By far, the majority of the guys picked that late in the draft never even manage to become a rotational piece for an NBA team.

Bronny was selected because of his dad. But it's really not this huge of a deal. He took a spot from someone who would play in the G-league for a couple years before moving overseas. Is this really what you want to spend your days melting over?

For lack of a better word, yes. He is the most valuable person in the Lakers org right now.

I can’t imagine having so little to do in my life on July 4th that I make a post like this. Sad to see.

If you stopped watching basketball bc you think Bronny is evident that it is no longer a meritocracy...then good riddance.

I tried to find your Thanasis thread, but nothing came up when I searched. Link please?

Adam Silver is the right Nerd the NBA needed

I am a big NBA fan and I likely always will be.

Adam Silver is one of the worst commissioners in the history of sports. The NBA would be in much better shape right now if it was still run by David Stern.

Freaking Isiah Hartenstein just got like 3 years and 82 million in free agency… I think the players would disagree

Yeah IDGAF about player salaries, that literally has 0 impact on my life unless they start sending fans money

What does have an impact on my life is the entertainment value of the game. He allowed load management to get so out of hand, he tried to do a hard course correct with the 65 game rule this year. Stern would have never let it get to that point.

He only took one spot, but that's one spot
a deserving player won't get as a result!

Can you name another player, who averaged less than 5 ppg, receive a 7.9M guaranteed as a late second round draft pick?

Didn't think so!

LeBron & AD can both still takeover and win games, but Lebron is old and AD is fragile.Bronny will be a non factor, obviously and the Lakers have a coach that's never coached.

The Lakers will make the playoffs but won't go far. Pretty much a repeat of last season's disappointment. More turmoil will ensue and the Lakers management are just not smart enough to fix it..

Couldn't have said it any better. It just frustrates me that these pro players think the rules don't apply to their children, and they should be given special treatment . Deion Sanders is the perfect example. When he arrived at Colorado, one of the first things he told his new team was he expected all the players to show on time for every meeting and practice, and if they didn't, they might as well go ahead and empty their locker because they won't be a part of the team. A few weeks later, however, Deion allowed his sons to miss a couple of practices, so they could go fly to Paris and model in a fashion show. The rest of the team was required to be at practice.

You do realize what the Lakers main priority is correct?

Yes, I happened to hear that one too. Their continued insistence on not only continually filling air time with this story but also continually ignoring what the real story is.......comical.
