The last full NBA game I watched was the Trailblazer screwjob against the Lakers in Game 7.

Drafting Bronny was a bad look but its not like second rounders are not a roll of dice anyways. This is being overblown.

I watched as little Nba this year as I have in quite a while. The game has become boring. Guys taking nights off, even teams taking nights off (game 4 of finals this year). And guys coasting during games until the last quarter. Its become a 3 pt shot contest. The season is too long, the playoffs are too long.

Am I outraged? No. Private organizations can do what they want with their money.
Now do I think its absurd they gave him 4 years of guaranteed money where historically 2nd rounders are given paltry sums?

This kid will have a target on his back from the first practice. He was treated differently because of his name. Nothing else. His talent doesn't merit any guaranteed money. Lakers probably view it as a sunk cost of $8MM.
Lebron would have better served having his kid do it the hard way but He wanted "his moment".
Kid will be cut year after LeBron retires.

The contract was absurd. But feel good feelings are what the Lakers are more serious about, apparently. Lebron isnt a special Laker, so I dont know why the Lakers are willing to go this far. He was a mercenary for hire late in his career when the Lakers got him. Lebron is getting the special treatment as a mercenary when there are lifers like Carolina Panthers Steve Smith getting sent packing despite his service and talent left in the tank.
