Rodman would have had Green out of that series in thirty seconds of the first game.
They would've both been grabbing asses and kicking nuts of each other and getting ejected in the first minute.

Playmaking is a more valuable skill than defensive rebounding.
We are in the age of the “uncontested rebound” (see westbrook triple double). when teams miss shots they don’t even try to offensive rebound. They get back on D. That makes defensive rebounding less valuable.

Agreed that he and the Bulls benefitted greatly from a watered down league.
But his teams were transcendent. The 2018 Warriors probably beat them, but that’s the only team I think does. And the 2018 Warriors are an aberration - an already historically great team that was able to add a top 15 player in history, at his peak. It’s not really a slight to be beaten by that team as every team in history would
Jordan's teams were historically great. And who knows how he could've done vs these Warriors teams.
I only push back when people say the teams he beat were great. None of them had anyone in their prime that could compete with him.
In contrast, in the late 80s while he was the best player in the league he wasn't worlds better than Magic and Bird. They were at least in the same stratosphere. Once Bird, Magic and Isiah got old no one else stepped up until Duncan, Shaq and Kobe.

This is pretty funny

Windhorst is such a mouthpiece, he can tell you what the Chinese dick, Lebron had, smelled and tasted like.

The Jordan-worshipping is out of control now. FWIW, I think he’s the goat. I won’t dispute that.
The documentary was almost funny at times. Jordan watching a video of Gary Payton, then laughing because The Glove said he got to him a little bit.
Jordan wants you to think that the only times he lost, it was because he beat himself.

I can't see the Bulls having a shot vs the KD Warriors. They only scored under 100 points in 4 of 38 playoff games.
The 96-97 and 97-98 Bulls only cracked 100 in 10 of 40 playoff games. Scoring power was never the Bulls strong suit, and the KD Warriors were historically loaded in that department.
The pre-KD Warriors...that would have been an interesting series. It would have come down to scoring again, but the Bulls would have had a better time only having Steph and Klay that could go nuts.
The '87 Lakers and '86 Celts would have given the Bulls a major run for their money. Beyond that...it would have been tough for any historical team to hang with the best Bulls team.

I truly think Jordan actually believes this is true. He's not trying to make people think that as much as he just thinks believes that to his core.
I think that is a personality trait that helped him become the GOAT. Just absurd confidence.

The Bulls had players that were elite defensively though. We're talking 3 Hall of Fame level defenders against 3 Hall of Fame level offensive threats.
Even in 98, Pippen and Jordan were both All NBA 1st Team Defense and Rodman led the league in defensive rebounding by A LOT (and overall rebounding).
It would be a fantastic series.

People love this about Jordan and absolutely hate it about other athletes. It's fascinating.

That big ole fatty stalker is annoying. If there’s one good thing about no sports, it was not having to listen to him spew LeBeon jizz on SportsCenter on a daily basis.

I think people like it when athletes back it up.
Tiger was like that early on as well in all his interviews e.g. "I am not surprised I won, I expect to win every time I play".

I think Jordan succeeded with this documentary. He wanted to remind some of those who had lost their way that he was and is and always will be the GOAT and wanted to show the new generation how LeBron will never compare.

I don't think this really is the best version of the Bulls. Rodman would have been a bad fit for Durant. By his time with the Bulls, he only defended interior players.
They'd have to play him on Green, IMO. Pippen would have to take Durant, which would leave MJ and Harper chasing Steph and Klay off screens, which was not their strength.
The KD Warriors, the Cavs were better in the LeBron/KD and Kyrie/Steph matchups. It was down the line that the Cavs couldn't match. The Bulls would have the same issue. Especially if we're using the 96-98 Bulls, they would also have had to make MJ use a ton of defensive energy.

The true GOAT shrewdness on display here is MJ dropping this the year after bron doesn’t even make the playoffs lol

Gtfo. Even people that never watched MJ knows he was better than LeBron and by far a bigger figure.
