Kind of nuts they haven't had a plan in place for this to potentially happen considering they've been making the postseason routinely since 2018 and were in the NLCS as recently as last year.

Held that promo back when they were a poverty franchise with no hope of making a WS.

Oh, who we kidding, they still are a poverty franchise that has had a good run of late. Kind of like the KC Royals a decade ago.

Time to pay up Brewers.

UPDATE

quote:

"We subsequently erred in our internal communications on the logistics of fulfilling the requests. While we were able to accommodate all with seats, we received feedback from some that they were unhappy with their seat locations. Clearly, even with extraordinary limitations on available seats, we did not live up to the spirit of the program and we have been working through a resolution.

We regret our mistake and look forward to welcoming them to American Family Field for their World Series experience."

Milwaukee said fans who got these subpar seats could still attend the World Series, keep their Timeless Ticket, and redeem it for a game in any future season

Good for the Brewers.

Still a halfass attempt to make things right on the Brewers' end. They'd prefer to take the $$ from corporate folks and rich celebrities rather than reward loyal fans...

This is the kind of stuff that curses franchises.

I dont know... seems like they're getting free World Series tickets and get to keep their Timeless Ticket. I best the fans are thrilled with that.

The ones I've seen aren't really thrilled. I mean, it's not the worst compromise ever, but "any future Brewers game" is hilarious to me.

"Any future Brewers game*"

*well, except for the big ones you really care about most and bought the ticket for in the first place, not those

If you can’t trust a company that sells $18 beers and $12 nachos with plastic cheese, who can ya trust?
