the story is ridiculous on its face.
I have a relative and a friend who live in the greater Boston region.
ESPN is about 2 months behind the 'word on the street' up there.

Sad you can not read full sentences, damn homeschooled Aggie.
Did you see the key word in there? Starts with a U.

quote:If you take away the appearance by Miami in '16 and Buffalo this year. The last playoff appearance by another team besides the Patriots would be the 2010 NYJ. That's pretty pathetic.
Half the division is in the playoffs
Let's not act like Miami,NYJ & Buffalo has been given the Patriots heat during the Brady/Belichick era.

Is that the patriots fault????? Plus they play ten other games.......

Bro Shut the frick up. Did you even read the article? It's hack arse journalism at best. This reporter said that Brady was starting to get upset about not getting patriots player if the week. What? He didn't name one source or have one direct quote in the story

incredible how much some of you want to toe the Patriots line and totally dismiss sourced investigative reporting
Bro, save your defense of shitty "journalism" for the wapo and ny times propaganda shops, espn stories ain't that important

quote:Anyone replacing Brady could be considered a major riff. Especially since the Patriots were so open about not wanting to trade Jimmy G. Then boom...he's off to the 49ers.
Hasn't it been rumored for a couple of years that Kraft wants Brady to stay around as long as he wants, but Belichick would be willing to let him go when he feels his play has dropped off? I can buy that Brady and Kraft pushed to trade Jimmy G and that upset Belichick. Now I highly doubt that these are at each other's throats and there is any type of major riff growing between them.

just because you don't want to believe it, that doesnt make it "hack arse"

anonymous sourcing is a thing dude

lol you clowns are pathetic
just because you don't want something to be true, that doesn't mean the big bad media is making it up or is out to get your team
you're calling this writer a liar in not so many words without anything at all to support it. It's sad.

A journalist who outs his sources will not be a journalist for very long.

The riff was about Brady and Jimmy G.
BB wanted to move on and start Jimmy next season, Kraft was not having it. Power struggle, now ESPN, after stealing others work as usual, comes out with story, months late.

Never said that it was their fault. It's fairly clear that that the Pats are good at what they do. But it also helps to have three franchises that are always chasing their own tail in your division.

how much experience do you have in the NFL to make that kind of an assessment?

pretty convenient timing too with the playoffs a few days away...peak interest for such an article.
Good business for Disney. It seems to me no matter what they do people are talking about them.

They traded him for a second rounder at that. Brady is old, and it's Belichick's job to plan for the future, which he clearly thought he had since he drafted Jimmy G a few years ago.
