Following ESPN publishing a long-form piece on Friday detailing a power struggle inside the Patriots organization between Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, the three have released a combined statement.

“For the past 18 years, the three of us have enjoyed a very good and productive working relationship," the statement reads. "In recent days, there have been multiple media reports that have speculated theories that are unsubstantiated, highly exaggerated, or flat out inaccurate. The three of us share a common goal. We look forward to the enormous challenge of competing in the postseason and the opportunity to work together in the future, just as we have for the past 18 years. It is unfortunate that there is even a need for us to respond to these fallacies. As our actions have shown, we stand united.”

The Patriots are off this weekend, but will host a divisional round game Jan. 13.

does anyone think that after nearly 20 years and an unprecedented level of success...7 super bowl appearances & 5 wins...these guys are at each other's throats?

the story is ridiculous on its face.

ESPN should stick to politics and race baiting.

Yes because 10 years is usually shelf life of relationships in sports.

incredible how much some of you want to toe the Patriots line and totally dismiss sourced investigative reporting.

I could maybe buy it if they actually had a losing season, or even a 9-7, 10-6 no playoff season

nope, #1 seed in the AFC.

The AFC East isn't exactly a tough task.

Plot twist: Tim Duncan REALLY retired because he was fed up with Pop. IHIOGA Parker and Ginobili have been giving each other the cold shoulder all year.

Sad.

Hasn't it been rumored for a couple of years that Kraft wants Brady to stay around as long as he wants, but Belichick would be willing to let him go when he feels his play has dropped off? I can buy that Brady and Kraft pushed to trade Jimmy G and that upset Belichick. Now I highly doubt that these are at each other's throats and there is any type of major riff growing between them.

I wish the saints had such a big rift that won a super bowl last year and a 1 seed this year.
