Did Norvell just say that wasn’t as bad of a start as it could have been?

You think this dude is going to the NFL?

Shite he will probably fool someone there too into barely crawling on just to get cut. He convinces all these schools. FSU could have found much better

one of two things happened:
1) DJU hasn't done what's been asked of him by his coaches (at clemson and FSU) in terms of film prep, putting in the hours, etc
2) people just mis-evaluted him. i mean everyone, including clemson, the same school that evaluated deshaun and trevor. doesn't happen often, but just someone who didn't pan out

I think the poor guy just over-thinks. Talent is there. But just yips and yips.

If somehow he can get with the right team who is willing to take on a project, I bet they can get him help. But it takes patience. NFL teams don't seem to have a lot of it these days. Hopefully he can get a decent payout and then move into something profitable even if it's pineapple sales in Hawaii.

Sometimes a high school team has so much talent and easy schedules and it makes things look so much better. And QB has more confidence as his HS team has way better talent. Fast forward to college and its more equal and QB loses confidence plus maybe doesn’t put the work in.
Another factor, OC has to call games to gain his confidence.
