Last month, Bolt crashed his BMW into a ditch along a highway and required minor surgery on his left foot after stepping onto thorns while getting out of the wreckage.
Does he not wear shoes? And why would that need surgery?

Folks have run sub-9 splits on 4x100s before, which isn't a full on running start.
It's fast, but not as impressive as you think, like I said.

If doing something that nobody else in the world can do is not impressive, then what is? Hell, its probably somemthing that nobody every in the word has ever been able to do.

Right, but he also sprinted for 50 meters before that. I read an interesting article a few months ago that looked into the training of these 100m sprinters and the actual "strategy" that goes into their races. You might read "strategy" for a 100m race like I did and laugh. But they showed through tons of scientific testing that a human will slow down if he goes all out for 100m. So, these guys actually "hold back" a little at the beginning of the race when running the 100. So with Bolt's 150m, he was not going top speed on the last 100.

link me to anyone who has covered 100 yards quicker, running start or not.
According to the article,
quote:
The Jamaican appeared to stumble after surging out of the blocks but then got into his stride
so he didn't get a very good start and had to recover, yet he still beat the 150m record by over 6 tenths of a second. So I assume those last 100 meters were ran at one of the fastest times ever to overcome that stumble. Colored me impressed

Last year at the Olympics, Powell split 8.70 for the anchor leg of the 4x1. Carl Lewis split 8.85 in Barcelona. Bolt himself ran 8.98 at the Olympics for the leg on the curve.

The current World Record stands at 37.10 seconds as set by the Jamaican team at the 2008 Beijing Games. The fastest electronically timed anchor leg run is 8.70 seconds by Asafa Powell in the same race
I'm not impressed
