Ahh, thanks

I pray TCU and Boise don't get matched up again. Set them up against some big time programs, see what happens.

The Big East Champ always plays in the Orange
The ACC champ plays in the Orange, not the Big East. In the last 5 years a Big 10 team has played in as many Orange Bowls as Big East teams.
Cincinnati won the Big East last year, they were in the Sugar. West Va won int 2007, they played OU in the Fiesta. They also won the BE in 05 and played UGA in the Sugar.
The Big East does not have a tie in to the Orange Bowl.

My bad ACC champ goes to the orange. All BSC conference champs get an automatic BCS bowl bid

I don't..
boise = high ratings and exposure. its like the yankees or notre dame people will tune in just to "hate" ----
besides, i think the vatech-boise game earlier this year was the highest rated regular season game on ESPN ever..?

There are a few bowl games I would love to see play out..
Boise/TCU vs tOSU in the rose bowl (assuming AU and Oregon win out).

Ya..but it was the only game on TV

outside of 1 game, not really

there have been more "hate" boise threads on here than any other topic---the boise story rivals lebron in terms of hatred across the country.

you mean like a BCS bowl game?

Comparing TV ratings with a game that had no in-sport-competition to other games that week that had 20+ games going on at the same time is moronic, even more so when you compare it to the likes of a BCS game.

then why was their game against TCU last year so low in the ratings?

thats a lie. it was the 4th highest rated bowl game.....even higher than georgia tech-iowa orange bowl and almost rated as high as florida-cincy.

You're leaving Boise out of BCS totally?
They would play BC in the kraft hunger bowl if they got left out.

otherwise known as the 2nd worst BCS bowl, only beating the power match of GT-Iowa in the BCS bowl of death

but still one of the highest rated bowls... AND that game was a rematch against another non-AQ school.
are we willing to deny that a boise-ohio state game or a boise-alabama or a boise-lsu game wouldnt generate huge tv ratings? one can hate boise or their method of play, but its very apparent that they are the cinderalla story in which the typical american falls in love with. not only are they the underdogs, but they are also the villian which makes quite the compelling story. there is a reason ESPN has been blasting it down our throats for months now.

not because of Bosie: LSU-tOSU would get better ratings than Alabama-Boise.

I can't even respond to stupid shite like this.

since we are talking about tv ratings why arent we talking about lsu oklahoma being one of the lowest rated bcs cg ever? imagine the uproar on here if the bcs would have picked usc over lsu because the tv ratings would have been better?
this whole tv argument highlights all that is wrong with the bcs. playoffs arent dtermined by tv ratings.
