Makes no sense why they wouldn't do it. I think it's more 'Why wouldn't they?' than 'Why would they?' And then, the other people, they can have their own tournament."

March Madness is exciting for fans (especially casuals) but the absolute worst way to crown a “champion” and really makes the NCAA basketball season a joke overall

The sports of college football and college basketball are hardly comparable, especially when it comes to talent distribution and parity. This idea reeks of a coach who wants an easier road to March Madness.

I actually agree with him. I get the small schools can compete and I get it only takes 5-6 players so it doesn’t take a power 5. But frick the small guys, overall he is right and if the power 5 split off it would overall make the product better in the long run. All the best players especially with NIL and the ability to transfer would go to a power 5.
This is a power 5 board so I’m all on the power 5 board for all sports.

Huggins is in his fourteenth season at WVU.
I would be surprised if WVU has had 14 home crowds of 14K since that time.
